Men Speak Up! →
âSocial change is a messy process. We need more men with the guts to stand up and say abusive behaviour is abusive behaviour, and itâs not right and it doesnât make me less of a man to point that out.â - Jackson Katz

Something that urks THE FUCK out of me
When women state that men are better than women / they get along better with men because âthey are so much more logical and cooler and smarter and etc. etc. etc.âÂ
BECAUSEÂ
FUCKâŚ
to go against an entire gender is fucking ridiculous, especially when your genitals or sex are specific to your argument.
I know great men. I know great women. It has nothing to do with whatâs in their panties, boxers, free-ballinâ, titty-holdinâ, sex identity, gender lovinâ self.
Men and women are equal
and to say one is better than the other just because you happen to think youâre a badass and get along with two dudes better than you get along with five dudettes makes you look like a total idiot and one who is adding to the everlasting gender war.

I got distracted from my work…
I saw this and just got furious -Â http://theruthtoyournaomi.tumblr.com/
Iâm gonna keep this short, I refuse to get too into this when I have so much work to doâŚ
Letâs just put the bigotry and homophobia aside for a second. This woman calls herself a feminist, except her definition of feminism is:
âFeminism is supporting life, supporting men, and supporting God. Itâs the bravery of putting others before yourself. Itâs the boldness of realizing your efforts may not be recognized. Itâs speaking for yourself and the unborn, itâs speaking in favor of God even when itâs not popular. THAT is feminism.â
No. Just no. Firstly, get an education. The feminist movement is defined on the grounds of gender equality, that women are equal to men. To edit what you wrote:
Feminism is about women supporting themselves. Itâs the boldness of aiming to get your efforts recognised, speaking for yourself and your rights and voicing your opinions openly without it being discredited because you are a women. THAT is feminism.
âWhat is laughable is the idea that women and men are the âsameâ. By ACKNOWLEDGING that, that is what makes me a feminist. The fact that I see TRUTH.â
âVoting and learning is a PRODUCT of MY feminism. Whereas your feminism is all about being angry, hating men, bombing churches, and promoting the disgusting lesbianism. Feminism should have ended after 1920, but no, the radical liberals and lesbians had to prolong it to give them more power and influence others.â
No, you cannot just âpick and chooseâ the parts of the feminist movement you agree with. The feminist movement, is the feminist movement. End of. Whether you agree with it or not, this includes the campaign for reproductive rights, equality in the workplace and in the home, the right to vote, to have control over your own body, to be able to voice your opinion openly. The only thing disgusting here is your ignorance on the subject, that you grossly stereotype all feminists as âradical liberals and lesbiansâ without any education on the subject. Whilst itâs true that there are extremist feminist groups, as there are in nearly every movement, organisation or religion, including christianity, feminism has nothing to do with âman hatingâ and âhaving power over othersâ. If feminism had ended after the 1920âs, you would still face discrimination for being a woman and your rights as a woman would be severely limited.

âWomen were spit upon, slapped in the face, tripped up, pelted with burning cigar stubs, and insulted by jeers and obscene language too vile to print or repeat.â
This photo is from the Woman Suffrage Procession, Washington, DC, 1913.
So pissed off that history classes teach people that men gave women the right to vote with the 19th Amendment (after it was passed not all women could even vote). Women fought tooth and nail to get the right to vote in the suffrage movement but then after that as well because many women couldnât vote after it was passed because of racism and classism. No one gave the women the right to vote, they took it.Â
